It all started with drinks at a cozy beer garden in Austin, TX—just a casual first date that neither of us knew would lead to a lifetime of adventure.

Before we knew it, we were growing in love.

One of our favorite surprises was discovering that, despite being born worlds apart—Angel from Dumaguete, Philippines, and Manuela from Luanda, Angola—we both had Houston roots (and the same H-town area code to prove it!).

In many ways, Houston was one of the first chapters of our stories in the U.S., making it even more meaningful that it’s now the place where we’ll say 'I do.'

Over the past seven years, our love story has taken us across the globe. From the beaches of Hawaii to the islands of the Philippines, we’ve explored the world together, fueled by a shared passion for travel—and really, really good food.

Most recently, we took our love for adventure on the road, working remotely while living in some of the most beautiful corners of the U.S. -- Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, the list goes on.

Through it all, our little family wouldn’t be complete without our two beloved pups—Boba, our fluffy Shihpoo, and Tilda, our sweet hound mix—who are just as adventurous (and food-loving) as we are.

Now, we’re thrilled to take the next big journey—marriage! We can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with our favorite people, surrounded by love, laughter, and, of course, some delicious food.
